Easy homemade soy free teriyaki sauce.
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup coconut aminos
1 T honey
1 T rice vinegar
2 t toasted sesame oil
1 t grated ginger
3 garlic cloves, minced or 1/2 tsp powdered
Slurry:
2T water
2T arrowroot or tapioca starch
Add all ingredients except slurry to a small saucepan, whisk until combined.
Simmer on med-low for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
while sauce is simmering, create the slurry, mix in a small bowl.
Add slurry to sauce and whisk until desired consistancy (you may not need all the slurry.
Remove from heat and use as desired. Store extra in fridge
